Post Graduate Training.

The importance of Continuous Ongoing Professional Development cannot be emphasised enough. Post Graduate Training not only contributes to the therapists annual record of COPD but also helps to keep the therapist up to date with various techniques and skills.

The Post Graduate Course .

The course runs over a two-day period. However, if a therapist would like to attend for just one of the two days, if numbers permit that is acceptable.

Although the overall programme content is approved by the NSPH, it can be reasonably flexible to meet the therapists requirements. It will also cover such topics as:
Top

Rapid induction techniques.

When appropriate to use them and to utilise them with post hypnotic suggestions.
Top

Smoking cessation .

Variations on a theme. For many therapists, smoking cessation is their main earner. Use a method that works!
Top

Past Life Regression .

Very popular with the national press and TV. Are you as confidant as you could be with the techniques? Could you run a workshop on the subject?
Top

Analysis.

Just how much practice do you get using this often vital part of a hypnotherapy session?
Top

Bereavement.

The importance of recognising a bereavement, the grieving process and could the symptoms be mistaken for something else?
Top

Kinesiology.

Learn some basic techniques of muscle testing for allergies and the Emotional Stress Release technique (which can be quite dramatic).
Top

Open Forum .

An opportunity to discuss topics of interest varying from, Shamanism, advertising, venue-to rent or not to rent-and fees.

Who is the PG course aimed at?

NSPH members who are perhaps not seeing too many clients and want to "keep their hand in" or want to take the opportunity to gain extra experience.

Members who perhaps feel that they are a bit "out of date" and would like a bit of revision in a safe environment.

Members keen to increase their hours of ongoing professional development and also keen to continue with their own personal development.

Members unable to travel to the main course training establishment of the NSPH at Corsebar, Paisley.

It is a wonderful opportunity to get together with like minded people for either one or two days of learning new skills, practicing existing ones, comparing and sharing ideas and techniques and enjoying yourself.

Venue.

Courses will be held in Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire. The nearest sizeable towns are Harrogate and Ripon. Boroughbridge is just a few minutes of the A1 (M), junction 48.
